About the role
The Home Health and Hospice Administrator at Sentara Health is responsible for overseeing the operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet or exceed customer expectations. This role involves coordinating the implementation of new clinical services and strategic planning for services, providing leadership, and administering human resource policies and practices.
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for operations and success of assigned areas.
- Coordinates the delivery of high quality services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Coordinates and completes assigned projects to effectively support the immediate and long-range objectives of the company.
- Oversees the eligibility of patients referred to services, planning for the services to be provided to patients, and supervises their care.
- Implements and maintains administrative practices, agency philosophy, goals and policies which assure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
- Enhances the profitability of the agency.
- Acts as a liaison with management staff and other departments throughout the company.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Level Degree (Preferred)
- Certification/Licensure: PT, OT, ST, SLP or RN License (Preferred)
- Experience: 2 years of Supervisory experience (Required), 2 years of Home Health experience (Required), 2 years of Hospice experience (Required)
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
