Home Health Aides, PCAs & Companions –Nassau County
About the role
Alvita Care is seeking dedicated and experienced caregivers to join our team. We have shifts available throughout the North Shore area of Nassau County, covering per-diem private duty, homecare, and facility bedside cases. Shifts range from 6 to 12 hours and are available on both weekdays and weekends. All shifts are per-diem, with both part-time and full-time schedule options available.
Requirements
- Certified NYS Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Reliable, professional, and patient-centered
- Discreet and professional in all communications
- Updated medicals/vaccinations (or willing to obtain)
- Prior home care experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license a plus
- Completed drug screen or Habituation Form
- Must complete Alvita Care onboarding to accept cases
Pay
$19.65–$22.00/hour. HHA/PCA pay rates differ from the Companion rate of $17/hour.

All applicants complete a phone screening to ensure a good fit for both caregiver and client. Cases are only available to caregivers who complete onboarding.
