Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide: Live-Ins and Hourly

About the role

Alvita Care is hiring empathetic, professional caregivers for positions in Westchester County, including Yorktown, Peekskill, Briarcliff Manor, Cortlandt, and surrounding areas. The role involves providing care to clients with flexible shift options.

Qualifications

• Valid HHA / PCA certificate in the state of New York
• At least 1 year of working experience
• Updated medicals/vaccinations or willingness to obtain
• Completed drug screen or completed Habituation Form
• Successful completion of Alvita Care’s onboarding process to accept cases
• Preferred: Memory Care, Palliative, ADL, and transfer experience

Pay

• Pay range: $19.65 – $21.00 per hour
• Weekly paycheck issued every Friday (direct deposit, debit pay card, or paper check)

Schedule

• Flexible shifts: days, nights, 2‑4 day live‑ins, and hourly shifts typically 6‑12 hours
• Full‑time, part‑time, and per diem schedule options available
• 4‑12 hour daytime shifts; occasional overnights
• Monday‑Friday availability preferred, weekends a plus
