Home Health Aide- King County

Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing support services, under the supervision of the appropriate professional staff that assist the client or family/caregiver in the achievement of physical and emotional comfort according to State and Federal Regulations. This is an entry-level patient care support position, working under limited supervision. Work situations require a service-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills for the purpose of supporting delivery of care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups. Independent decision-making is expected in the execution of daily routine duties.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED
• Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant license (CNA)
• Current BLS certification
• Technical training in related field required
• Home health or hospice experience preferred
• One (1) year of Certified Nursing Assistant experience
• Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state)
