Home Health Aide HHA - Pediatrics

About the role

BAYADA’s mission is to safely keep people home, especially during challenging times like the current pandemic. Our home care services are crucial for clients to avoid infection and hospitalization, which are already strained due to the pandemic. BAYADA Pediatrics is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides in Chester and Montgomery counties to provide personalized care to special needs children.

Responsibilities

• Care for one client at a time
• Perform activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping tasks
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, range of motion exercises, transfers, and mechanical lifting
• Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration
• Manage home tasks like laundry, meal preparation, and bed making
• Assist with medication administration and ambulation

Requirements

• Minimum one year of personal care experience in a supervised setting
• Certificate of at least 75 hours of home health aide training
• Current CNA license listed in good standing with the board
• Completion of a medical-surgical clinical rotation in nursing school

Qualifications
