Overview

The role is available in Montgomery County and surrounding areas including Ardmore, Norristown, Willow Grove, and Lansdale. Interim HealthCare is a flexible home care company offering work-life balance and various benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support for seniors to live safely at home
• Aid with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
• Remind about medications, document clients' conditions, and report any concerns to a supervisor
• Ensure a safe home environment with clear pathways
• Engage clients in enjoyable activities like puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies

Requirements

• Active Home Health Aide (HHA) registration in PA or equivalent credentials
• Direct experience in a healthcare role preferred
• Pass necessary state-required credentials
• Valid PA driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation
• Compassionate and good communicator
• Completed 2-step PPD, chest X-ray, or QuantiFERON Gold test
• MUST check in every 4 hours
