What You'll Do
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and personal hygiene
- Providing companionship and building meaningful relationships with residents
- Encouraging participation in social activities and community events
- Observing and reporting changes in residents' physical or emotional well-being
- Assisting with mobility, transfers, and resident safety
- Partnering with nurses and fellow team members to provide exceptional resident care
- Helping create a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment where residents can thrive
Qualifications
- Current New Jersey Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
- Experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or home care is a plus, but not required
