Responsibilities
- Providing compassionate assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Building meaningful relationships with residents while promoting independence and well-being
- Encouraging social engagement and participation in daily activities
- Observing and reporting changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team
- Creating a safe, welcoming environment where residents feel valued and cared for
- Working alongside nurses and caregivers to deliver exceptional senior care
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification (preferred or as required by state regulations)
- At least 6 months of experience as an HHA, Caregiver, CNA, PCA, PCT, or DSP
- Memory Care experience is a plus
