Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, personalized care to residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Absorb and report changes in residents' physical or emotional well-being to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and services provided
- Build meaningful relationships by encouraging residents to socialize and participate in community activities
- Assist residents with transfers, ambulation, and daily routines while promoting dignity and independence
- Create a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment where residents can thrive
- Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other team members to deliver exceptional resident care
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, PCA, PCT, DSP, or HHA is preferred but not required
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for caring for older adults
