Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and personal hygiene
- Providing compassionate, person-centered care that promotes independence and dignity
- BUILDING MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS AND OFFERING COMPASSIONATE COMPAIGNION TO RESIDENTS
- ENCOURAGING PARTICIPATION IN SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND COMMUNITY EVENTS
- Observing and reporting changes in residents' physical or emotional well-being
- WORKING CLOSER WITH NURSES AND FELLOW TEAM MEMBERS TO PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL RESIDENT CARE
- HELPING MAINTAIN A SAFE, COMFORTABLE, AND WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT
Qualifications
- Current New Jersey Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in assisted living, home care, long-term care, memory care, or senior living is preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
