Home Health Aide (CNA) - Flex/PRN

Responsibilities

• Assists patient with activities of daily living, to include bathing, mouth care, shampoo, shaving, transferring, repositioning, feeding, toileting, etc.
• Maintains clean and comfortable environment by changing bed linens and performing light housekeeping.
• Does client’s laundry and prepares meals.
• Maintains safe environment through use of bed rails, safety devices and proper placement of equipment.
• Performs nursing assistant duties, to include foley catheter care, enema, dressing changes and decubitus care, as instructed under the direction of a licensed professional nurse.
• Listens actively and encourages family members to verbalize feelings and concerns.
• Accurately records home health aide notes in medical records system.

Requirements

• CNA License in Maryland
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of nursing assistant or Red Cross training course required; certification preferred
• Minimum one-year experience in long-term care, acute care or home care
• Must have valid driver’s license, current insurance and own transportation

Pay

Min USD $17.05/Hr. Max USD $25.30/Hr.
