A Day in the Life of a Home Health Aide (HHA)
Assists with providing activities of daily living to residents including personal care such as bathing, skincare, hair care, nail care, dressing, oral hygiene, shaving, and grooming.
Transfers residents as needed and assists with toileting and answering all call lights.
Qualifications
- Completed a state-approved Nursing Assistant course
- Current State of Minnesota certification/registration to practice
- Responsible for meeting the needs of our residents in a safe and caring manner
- Follows established policies and procedures
- Upholds the Resident Bill of Rights
- Organizes time and prioritizes resident care needs
- Exercises confidentiality to ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations
- Experience in Medication Pass is required
