Home Health Aide

About the role

BAYADA is seeking a CNA to provide personal care, household support, and companion care services to adults in their homes. This position involves supporting clients with activities of daily living, household tasks, meal preparation, and vital sign checks.

Responsibilities

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you will provide personal care, household support, and companion care services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
• Develop close relationships with clients while assisting with:
• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Ranging of motion/exercises
• Ambulation (transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience.
• Successfully completed a recognized CNA training course or a 75-hour Home Health Aide certification.
• A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay

$17.85 - $18.85 per hour.

Schedule

Reliable service to patients on a per visit basis in the following counties: Southern New Castle, Kent and Sussex in BAYADA’s Dover Office.
