Home Health Aide
About the role
BAYADA is seeking a CNA to serve patients on a per visit basis in the Southern New Castle, Kent, and Sussex counties. Pay rates range from $17.85 to $18.85.
Responsibilities
- Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
- Develop close relationships with clients while assisting with:
- Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
- Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Ranging of motion/exercises
- Ambulation (transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
Requirements
- At least one year of work experience.
- Successfully completed a recognized CNA training course or a 75-hour Home Health Aide certification.
- A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
- Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.
