About the role

ExpertCare is looking for a Personal Care Assistant to work 1:1 with our Recipients in their homes. The role involves supporting, encouraging, and helping with skill-building activities, as well as taking recipients into the community to support their personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and encouraging Recipients in their daily activities
• Helping Recipients build new skills and confidence
• Taking Recipients into the community to engage in social activities
• Adhering to and implementing care plans provided by the Recipient's care coordinator

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments
• Able to pass required background checks and screenings
• Must be 18 years or older
