About the role
We are hiring for In-Home CareGivers, ready to provide quality in-home care and develop an enriching meaningful relationship with our clients. We have immediate needs by a Client Request within their Client Rights specifying the gender of their CareGiver to be male. Our clients often require assistance with activities of daily living but also need assistance staying connected with the outside world through social activities, appointments, and errands. Your role as a certified caregiver helps them to live life to their fullest. We are open to applicants from the following industries: Caregivers, Medical, CNA, Nursing, Hospitality, etc.
Pay
- $18.50 - $20.00/hour and cell phone reimbursement
- Holiday Pay and Vacation time accrual
- Paid travel time PLUS $1.00/mile reimbursed when driving a client or between multiple clients in a day
Schedule
- Flexible part-time schedule between 15 - 40 hours per week
- Available and Able to work between 20-40 hours per week with some weekend work availability
Responsibilities
- Foster an in-depth connected relationships within the home care environment
- Use our CareGiver mobile app to keep track of your work schedule, shift responsibilities, communicate with the office, and much more
- Full scope of interaction with the client in their home including assistance with their activities of daily living, maintaining their home environment, and keeping them engaged with the outside world
Requirements
- Home Care Aide Registry (HCA): we can assist you with this process if needed
- Complete Employment Verification and Professional Reference screening with satisfactory results
- Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting, community living, or skilled nursing facility
- TB screening or clear chest X-ray
- Must be able to meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the rest of the care team
- Reliable transportation to different clients throughout the week including weekends
- Able to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 5 hours per day
- Able to lift 20-30 pounds and use tools necessary for job
