A community member in Melrose, WI is seeking overnight care in the comfort of his home. He works from home on the internet, enjoys time with his friendly dog and family, and uses a Hoyer lift, adaptive bowel system, trach suction, ventilator, and tube feeding (along with regular feeding). The role offers a quiet environment with opportunities for one‑on‑one companionship.

Responsibilities

• Use Hoyer lift to transfer the client
• Assist with tube feeding and regular eating/drinking
• Provide trach suction for respite care
• Operate the digital bowel system
• Offer companionship care
• Perform other tasks as needed

Requirements

• Comfortable in a dog‑friendly home
• Reliable and patient
• Enjoys quiet, one‑on‑one time with the client
• Experience with adaptive equipment preferred; training will be provided if needed

Pay

$16.32 up to $27.88

Schedule

Every other Thursday‑Sunday, third shift. Shifts are also PRN (as needed): Thursday 6 p.m. – 7 a.m., Friday and Saturday 7 p.m. – 7 a.m., Sunday 7 p.m. – 6 a.m.
