About the role

The Palliative Care RN is responsible for patients and families in the palliative care program. Provides Palliative care clinical consultation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with manager in the development of performance measurements for the Palliative Care Program to ensure continuous quality improvement; ensures implementation
• Motivates and supports employees for exemplary performance on internal and external customer service,li>
• Provides statistical and budgetary data to appropriate Palliative care program
• Works collaboratively with all departments to ensure execution of quality delivery of services

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved nursing education program
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice
• CPR certification
• Two years acute background; Hospice/Palliative Care certification preferred
• Home care experience, strong clinical knowledge base, Hospice experience, computer skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Palliative Care experience; demonstrate ability to use problem solving, critical thinking, and priority setting skills
• Must be able to work independently and on a team
• Ability to perform diversified duties with time limitations
• Ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate programs in Palliative care and end-of-life care

Pay

$36.71–$58.71 per hour
