About the role
HomeCare Advocacy Network (HCAN) is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our caregiving team. This position provides high-quality, non-medical support and assistance to clients in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support
- Aid with light housekeeping and laundry
- Drive or accompany clients to errands, appointments, or activities
- Offer medication reminders (non-clinical)
- Support with bathing, hygiene, and mobility
- Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs
- Ensure home safety and fall prevention
- Offer respite care for family caregivers
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have auto insurance
- Must have dementia experience (optional but preferred)
