Home Care Caregiver/Direct Care Worker

About the role

Eminence Home Care is seeking a Caregiver/ Direct Care Worker in Glastonbury, Connecticut. This role involves providing direct care and support to clients in their homes or in healthcare facilities, ensuring they receive the highest level of care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and overseeing laundry
• Prepare and oversee meal preparation and hydration for clients
• Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship
• Offer emotional support to clients and their families through respite care

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 1-2 years of experience in home care or a related field
• CNA certification is welcome but not required
• Valid drivers license preferred
