It is our belief that you should treat people the way you wish to be treated, which is the key to our success. We care equally as much for our Aides as we do our clients. If enhancing your skills is important to you please know you will be provided monthly In Services that will serve as your North Carolina State approved Continuing Education credits. In addition quarterly, speakers are brought in to enhance your skill set, which you are given certificates upon completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care.
• Help with mobility, safe transfers, and range-of-motion or physical therapy exercises.
• Plan and cook nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions, and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, doing laundry, and washing dishes.
• Remind clients to take medications, and monitor physical or mental health changes, reporting any issues to a supervisor or nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support, conversation, and engagement in hobbies or social activities.
• Run errands, grocery shop, and drive clients to medical appointments or community outings.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Caregiving has to be a passion.
• Some form of experience in caregiving.
