Home Care Aide - driving required

About the role

Help at Home is seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver who can provide in-home support to clients and assist with transportation needs. The ideal candidate will help with daily activities and safely transport clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping, including organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning
• Personal activities such as dressing, grooming, and assisting with meals
• Provide safe and timely transportation to run errands, grocery shopping, and/or accompanying clients to appointments

Requirements

• Valid driver's license or ID
• Active insurance in your name
• Access to reliable transportation
• Comfortable driving clients of all mobility levels
• Ability to assist clients in and out of vehicles as needed
• Dedication to professional development, including organizational and state-required training

Qualifications

• No experience required
• Must comply with state background screening requirements

Skills

• Compassion and reliability
• Ability to work 1-on-1 with clients inside their homes

Pay

Pay ranges from $18.75 to $21.00 an hour (with experience, can vary by location and/or care plan). Mileage reimbursement is provided for all client-related driving.
