Immediate opening for female caregiver in a leading home care agency. Harmony Home Care is seeking compassionate and experienced Home Care Aides to join our care team, providing one-to-one companionship and care to clients in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine individualized care to the elderly and those with disabilities
- Monitor and report changes in client health status
- Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing clients
- Give medication reminders
- Be proactive, find things to do, and confirm with client
- Light housekeeping and cooking
- Errand services and transportation
- Assist with transfer skills
- Support exercise and range of motion activities
Requirements
- Registered CA Home Care Aide Number
- Live Scan fingerprinting
- Auto Insurance, TB Clearance, valid Driver’s License, and Social Security card
- At least one year of experience in-home or facility care
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Ability to build friendly rapport with clients and their families
- Excellent listening and verbal communication skills
- Good written communication to read and keep logs
