Home Care Aide

About the role

Senior Helpers of the Peninsula is seeking part-time Caregivers for short shifts across multiple locations on The Peninsula, ranging from Sunnyvale to San Francisco. Positions are available for individuals who may be retired, looking for flexible hours, or students with flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and assistance to seniors
• Support clients with daily living activities
• Ensure client safety and comfort
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
• Flexible availability to work part-time short shifts
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Qualifications

• Experience not required; training provided
• Compassionate and caring personality
• Strong communication skills

Skills

• Basic caregiving skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Flexibility in scheduling

Pay

$20 to $23 per hour
