Schedule
- Daytime Caregiver: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (willing to work 4 to 12 hour shifts in between)
- Flexible scheduling available
- Part-time position
About the Role
HomeWell is seeking caring, dependable, and service-oriented home care aides who are passionate about helping others live safely and comfortably at home. In this role, you’ll provide non-medical personal care and companionship that supports each client’s dignity, independence, and quality of life. We value team members who lead with kindness, communicate professionally, and take pride in making a meaningful difference.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Provide medication reminders
- Prepare meals and support mobility/transfers
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Support daily activities and behaviors as needed
- Perform light housekeeping for a safe home
Skills
- Experience with bedbound care and transfers preferred
- Knowledge of dementia and developmental disability care preferred
- Ability to manage behaviors with patience and empathy
- Meal prep and dietary awareness
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
- Caregiving experience: 1-3 years preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
- Must currently reside in or be able to reliably commute in the St. Louis, MO area. If not already local, relocation prior to start date is required.
