Home Care Aide
About the role
Help at Home is hiring Home Care Aides in Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes and assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and other activities.
Responsibilities
As a Home Care Aide, you may assist clients with:
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and basic cleaning
- Personal care activities, such as dressing and grooming
- Meal preparation
- Safe and timely transportation to appointments and errands
- Grocery shopping and other essential activities
- Companionship and support with daily routines
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- Valid driver’s license
- Active auto insurance in your name
- Access to a safe and reliable vehicle
- Ability to assist clients with varying mobility needs
- Ability to help clients safely enter and exit a vehicle, as needed
- Ability to complete required background screening
- Willingness to complete organizational and state-required training
Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required. Help at Home provides training for qualified candidates.

Pay
Pay starts at $13 per hour. Part-time and flexible scheduling opportunities are available, with available shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights based on client needs.
Compensation, benefits, paid time off, and bonuses vary by state and location. The $1,000 new hire milestone bonus is paid in 8 increments, with the total accumulated $1,000 paid out after the caregiver has worked 1,000 hours from the start date.
