Home and Community Direct Support Professional
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred but not required
- A valid driver’s license
- Owns a vehicle
- Base pay: $18.50 per hour
Responsibilities
Interact and support individuals in various settings.
Provide care that enhances the health, safety, dignity, and contentment of those served.
Assist and train individuals in personal care, communication, and social skill development.
Qualifications
Experience as a Caregiver, Direct Care Worker, Home Health aide, or similar role is preferred.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures.
