Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Consistently and accurately prepares food to established guidelines and orders for Hollydeck guests.
  • Ensures par levels for menu item ingredients are kept in stock.
  • Reports shortages and/or outages to F&B leadership for ordering purposes.
  • Ensures food is prepared in a timely manner according to established guidelines.
  • Communicates with other Hollydeck Team Members as needed to provide prompt and friendly customer service according to department and company standards.
  • Boils and/or broils or assists with boiling and/or broiling of seafood products for Hollydeck events according to established guidelines.
  • Ensures food product served is fresh and meets guest satisfaction.
  • Reports concerns regarding food product or ingredients to F&B leadership team.
  • Ensures food product is stored and prepared according to food safety standards and established guidelines.
  • Wears personal protective equipment while handling all food products.
  • Ensures food safety standards are followed at all times while on duty.
  • Maintains a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines.
  • Supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Qualification Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • General Education Degree (GED) or High School Diploma; six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to count money and change correctly.
  • Able to work high volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends, as needed.
  • Able to meet professional appearances standards as outlined in company policy.
  • Able to work in small areas in a fast-paced and often crowded environment.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Able to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Able to stand for their scheduled shift(s) and must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Able to interact in environments containing unrestricted second hand tobacco smoke.
  • Able to work in environments containing flashing lights and possibly moving mechanical parts.
  • Able to work in environments containing fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme heat or cold and risk of electrical shock.
  • Able to work in environments containing unrestricted second hand tobacco smoke.
  • Able to work in environments containing noise levels in the work environment that are usually very loud.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
  • This employee is required to stand for their scheduled shift(s) and must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

PAY

Starting from $13.50 per hour, based on experience.
