Holistic Student Support Professional (PT)
Location: Utica, NY • Part-Time, 12-Month position

Mohawk Valley Community College provides accessible, high-quality educational opportunities to meet the diverse needs of our students. The Holistic Student Support Professional provides professional support services to the Holistic Student Support area including the Help Desk, Testing Center, Onboarding New Students, and Holistic Student Support/Advisement.
Responsibilities
- Assists students with processes related to enrollment, registration, placement testing, and Holistic Student Support/advisement
- Triages student issues as related to enrollment, registration, placement testing and holistic student support/advisement
- Makes effective referrals for support services or other areas of the college
- Aids areas of Holistic Student Support during peak periods of activity or staffing issues
- Assists with the enrollment process delivery and sustainability for Holistic Student Support
- Generates reports as requested
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Effective communication skills (oral, written, computer)
- Ability to multi-task and interact with diverse student population
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Schedule
Monday - Friday between the hours of 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. Weekly hours may vary based on departmental needs; approximately 20 hours per week. Successful candidate must be flexible and able to accommodate occasional adjustments to their work schedule.
Pay
$19.00 per hour
