Holiday Specialist

About the role

IDR is seeking a Holiday Specialist to join one of our top clients in Parsippany, New Jersey. This seasonal, hands‑on position involves producing, preparing, and installing holiday displays, focusing on decorating trees, wreaths, and garlands according to established designs. The work environment is dynamic and festive within the holiday décor and event‑setup industry.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, decorate, and install holiday displays including trees, wreaths, garlands, and other seasonal décor.
• Ensure all lighting and décor components are functioning properly and follow established design instructions.
• Assist with inventory management and warehouse organization.
• Support outdoor and indoor holiday setup.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while supporting a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of holiday design, decorating, installation, warehouse, or similar experience preferred (no prior experience required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific design/layout instructions.
• Comfortable performing hands‑on, physical work throughout the day.
• Able to work independently while taking direction from supervisors.

Schedule

• Extended hours during peak season.
• Work nights, weekends, and occasional overnights.
