About the role

The role focuses on delivering a highly satisfied customer experience, maintaining a clean and organized store, and adhering to operational, merchandise, and loss‑prevention standards. You may be cross‑trained to support multiple areas of the store.

Responsibilities

• Engage and interact with all customers, embodying customer‑experience principles and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss‑prevention standards.
• Cross‑train to work in multiple store areas to support business needs.
• Role‑model established customer‑experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back to customers according to established procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and assist with overall store cleanliness.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink‑reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay

This position has a starting pay range of $12.50 to $13.00 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
