About the role

Job Type: Seasonal. Pay Rate: Starting at $15. Category: Entertainment. Location: Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas. The Six Flags Fiesta Texas Entertainment Department is casting professional performers (Singers, Dancers, Musicians) for upcoming Holiday in the Park shows. Seeking experienced vocalists with dance experience; a musical theatre background is a plus. Auditions: Saturday, October 10th, between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm at the Entertainment Rehearsal Hall. Arrive any time between 9:45 am and 11:45 am. Parking available in the Employee Parking Lot; sign in and enter through the Security Ranger Station for direction to the audition location. Responsibilities

• Singers: Prepare 2‑3 contrasting song selections (no more than 32 bars each; preferably one up‑tempo, one ballad, and one musical‑theater style).
• Dancers: Prepare a short dance routine (up to 30 seconds) showcasing your skills; you may be asked to sing.
• An accompanist will be provided for sheet music, or you may use a phone with an accompaniment track (bring any needed adapters). No a cappella singing.
• You may be asked to participate in a callback the same day, which may include singing, dancing, and character work.

Qualifications

• Audition required.
• Outgoing and friendly personality highly recommended.
• Dance experience/skills and ability recommended.
• Willing to actively engage guests and be knowledgeable about park events.
• If applicable, must be able to perform in 15‑30 lb. costume.
• Must be at least 16 years old; some roles require applicants to be at least 18 years of age at time of hire.
• If applicable, must meet WB/DC Comics standards for height/build/look.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, climb stairs, bend, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions even in costume.
• Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Prior experience in public performance or public speaking preferred but not necessary.

Pay
