Holiday Catering Specialist - PT Temp (*Local SF Bay Area Candidates only)

About the role

The Catering Specialist Intern at Mollie Stone’s Markets will focus on supporting the Hospitality and Catering Sales Manager in various catering tasks from October to December. This position will work out of the Mill Valley location and is an hourly, non-exempt, temporary role.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer experience for every order
• Take seasonal catering orders by phone, answer questions, provide details, and ensure customers understand the items and services offered
• Edit orders in CRM system
• Communicate to stores regarding new and existing catering orders
• Deliver catering orders
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Proficiency in various computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Flexibility in schedule

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to regularly lift at least 30 lbs
• Standing: Up to 6 hours per day
• Seating: Up to 8 hours per day
• Walking: Up to 4 hours per day
• Reaching: Up to 2 hours per day

Pay

$20–25 per hour depending on industry experience

Schedule

Temporary position from October to December.

Travel Requirements

Independent and reliable local travel up to 10% of the time.
