Hogan Consultant
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Hogan Consultant to join their team! The primary duties will focus on hands-on development, testing, and application design.
Core Responsibilities
- Onshore liaison for offshore team
- Design, code, test, implement Hogan code
- IT/UAT testing other programmers' code
- Code migration
- Peer code reviews
- Responsible for JCL, programming, testing, conversion monitoring and verification
- Develop and enhance Front End support methodology for Business Analysts
- Design, develop, install, test, and document complex applications software at client product installations
- Contribute to the design and delivery of technical architecture solution components
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
- 5+ years experience with Hogan CIS, Deposits, and/or CAMS
- At least 5 years of substantial knowledge of the Hogan application, including Hogan Deposits (DDA & TDA), Hogan RPM, Hogan CIS, Hogan Umbrella, Hogan PAS, Hogan ODS, Hogan CAMS
- Extensive knowledge of Hogan's process dictionary components and PCD's, with heavy involvement in conversions, development, or implementation of new releases of the Hogan systems
- Good knowledge on Hogan concepts such as Hogan Umbrella, PEM, CDMF, Librarian, Logical Environments, Hogan Abend Identification and fixing both online & batch
- Coding experience in CICS/VSAM and/or IMS/DB2, COBOL II, Easytrieve, JCL, MVS operating system, Expeditor, Endeavor and/or Changeman source managers
- Mainframe Skills - COBOL, VSAM & JCL
- Mainframe Tools - Easytrieve, SORT Utilities, ICTOOL
- Experience working with software design, software development life cycle, and development methodologies and implementation
- Superior problem-solving capabilities and communication skills (verbal and written)

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $45.00 and $60.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
