Hoffer Pest Solutions - Residential Service Specialist

About the role

Hoffer Pest Solutions is seeking a Residential Service Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for performing quality pest control services and managing pest management for residential and commercial customers.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect for pests, pest harborage, entry points, etc.
• Communicate findings to the customer.
• Apply pesticides and rodenticides within the confines of the law.
• Use required personal protection and safety equipment.
• Maintain your vehicle inside and out.
• Schedule repairs and routine maintenance with your supervisor.
• Submit all paperwork and customer payments on time, complete, accurate, and in proper order.
• Perform “Sync” and “Full Download” procedures with the hand-held unit every morning.
• Review pending appointments and advise your Routing Coordinator of any requested changes.
• Be knowledgeable and follow all State regulations and safety procedures.
• Take advantage of opportunities to sell additional Company products and services to existing customers and to recognize and report sales leads and opportunities to managers.
• Clock in and out using the hand-held unit.
• Coordinate with other departments and technicians to ensure completion and customer satisfaction.
• Attend required training meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Communication: Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Customer Service: Strong customer service skills.
• Basic computer and email skills.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment with good judgment and decision-making ability.
• Pest Control licensing and continued training.
• Some prior pest control experience is extremely beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Clean MVR and background check.
