HLS Navigation Aerospace Engineer

Modeling lunar landing navigation systems for NASA's Human Lander System in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement navigation algorithms using Kalman filtering and sensor fusion.
• Design and analyze Terrain Relative Navigation (TRN) systems.
• Conduct 6-DOF Monte Carlo simulations for lunar landing scenarios.

Requirements

• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, Fortran, and C++.
• Experience with navigation systems and aerospace engineering.
• On-site work in Huntsville, AL (remote work not supported).
