HLS GN&C Flight Simulation Engineer

About the role

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining flight simulation systems for aerospace applications. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and performance meet high standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop flight simulation software components
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate simulation systems into larger aerospace projects
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure system reliability and performance
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in simulation and aerospace engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aerospace simulation development
• Proficiency in C++, Python, and/or MATLAB
• Experience with simulation tools such as VTK, ParaView, or similar
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

Skills

• Knowledge of aerospace principles and regulations

Pay

• $80,000 - $100,000 annually

Schedule
