About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Grindstone Laundry facility. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our facilities and services.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to work orders and align tasks with company priorities.
• Communicate effectively with management to coordinate tasks and meet deadlines.
• Maintain strict adherence to OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Repair and maintain building structures, finishes, fixtures, and machinery.
• Ensure the cleanliness and condition of the laundry facility.
• Operate company vehicles safely and follow all driving guidelines.
• Assume responsibility for additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in laundry/production maintenance or equivalent combination of vocational education and on-the-job training.
• Low Pressure Boiler License or must obtain within six (6) months of employment.
• Mille Lacs Band member and preference given to American Indians.
• Must have strong hand-eye coordination, self-motivation, teamwork skills, and flexibility in scheduling.
• Proficient in writing routine correspondence and utilizing email communication.
• Competent in using Microsoft applications and company-issued software platforms.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in various settings.
• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and technical documents.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move objects weighing up to one hundred (100) lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, run, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and crawl.

Qualifications
