About the role
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Grindstone Laundry facility. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our facilities and services.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to work orders and align tasks with company priorities.
- Communicate effectively with management to coordinate tasks and meet deadlines.
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Repair and maintain building structures, finishes, fixtures, and machinery.
- Ensure the cleanliness and condition of the laundry facility.
- Operate company vehicles safely and follow all driving guidelines.
- Assume responsibility for additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in laundry/production maintenance or equivalent combination of vocational education and on-the-job training.
- Low Pressure Boiler License or must obtain within six (6) months of employment.
- Mille Lacs Band member and preference given to American Indians.
- Must have strong hand-eye coordination, self-motivation, teamwork skills, and flexibility in scheduling.
- Proficient in writing routine correspondence and utilizing email communication.
- Competent in using Microsoft applications and company-issued software platforms.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in various settings.
- Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and technical documents.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move objects weighing up to one hundred (100) lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, run, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and crawl.
Qualifications
