About the role

The Hitter’s House Salesclerk will assist customers in locating items, providing product information, and creating a positive shopping experience. Key responsibilities include monitoring inventory, restocking shelves, totaling bills, accepting payments, and maintaining a clean, organized store.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to promote sales.
• Stamp, mark, or tag prices on merchandise.
• Obtain and exchange merchandise as requested by customers.
• Total price and tax on merchandise purchased, providing accurate change and wrapping/bagging items.
• Accurately handle cash transactions at the end of each shift.
• Calculate and apply sales discounts.
• Keep the showroom clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of related retail experience preferred.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

Sports knowledge preferred.
