Role And Responsibilities The histotechnologist will process tissue specimens, prepare histopathological slides, perform staining procedures, and maintain laboratory equipment and quality standards. Key duties include embedding tissue with a microtome, mounting sections on slides, conducting immunohistochemical and routine/special stains, and operating both manual and automated instruments. The role requires accurate reporting of test results and documentation of quality control measures.
