Histotechnologist I
Key Responsibilities
- Perform tissue embedding and microtomy.
- Cut 20-30 tissue blocks per hour while maintaining quality standards.
- Embed approximately 50 tissue blocks per hour.
- Process a variety of tissue types.
- Follow laboratory quality, safety, and compliance procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support daily laboratory operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent histology experience.
- Hands-on experience with microtomy and tissue embedding (required).
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- ASCP Histotechnician (HT) certification required.

Location: Tukwila, WA
Job Type: 03 Months (Contract to Hire)
Pay Range: $25 - $30 hourly
Shifts: 1st Shift (4 AM-12:30 PM, flexible start at 5 or 6 AM)
