Histotechnician - Anatomic Pathology (Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time & Part-Time)

Role Overview: Perform histologic procedures on patient specimens to support pathologists in diagnosis. Key Responsibilities: Identify surgical and autopsy specimens, process and embed tissues, section samples using microtomy, prepare slides, perform staining, and conduct immunohistochemical testing. Qualifications: Hold a 2-year Associate in Science degree, NY State License, and ASCP certification. Skills & Abilities: Ability to interpret SOPs and safety manuals, communicate effectively with medical staff, demonstrate problem-solving and teamwork, and potentially train new staff.
