New Haven teachers are offered a variety of leadership development opportunities including but not limited to curriculum facilitator, teacher facilitator and the Yale-New Haven Teachers Institute.

Responsibilities

• Engage in professional development opportunities
• Provide instruction in History/Social Studies grades 7-12
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices
• Participate in school and district initiatives

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain the certification requirements as established by Connecticut State Statutes (026 History & Social Studies 7-12 or comparable)
• Must follow the process outlined at this link to obtain a Connecticut State Certification

Salary contingent on degree and years of experience: 26-27 School Year: $53,220 - $108,047
