Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with faculty on the Harlem and Middletown campuses in the development, organization, and delivery of the curriculum presented simultaneously on all campuses.
  • Support TouroCOM Montana’s program through teaching and course administration duties and responsibilities as outlined further below.
  • Serve on the administrative committees of the college.
  • Engage in scholarly activity that results in peer-reviewed publications.

Qualifications

  • Possess a Ph.D., D.O. or M.D. degree or applicable terminal degree.
  • Demonstrate the potential for exceptional teaching at the medical school or graduate level in the areas mentioned in the job responsibilities section.
  • Demonstrate potential for research.
  • Work well with the rest of the faculty team.
  • Be a clear communicator.
  • Demonstrate relevant content and clinical expertise.
  • Show a passion for teaching osteopathic principles and techniques at the undergraduate medical education level.
  • Have basic computer skills supporting the proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Be able to proficiently use software used to prepare written exams and learning management systems.
