Position Highlights
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, ~7am–4pm (flexible start time). No evenings, weekends, or call. Part‑Time (2–3 days/week) or Full‑Time (4–5 days/week) available.
- Compensation: Uncapped W‑2 earning potential, directly proportionate to provider availability, EMR documentation, number of patient encounters per month, and number of facilities covered. Full‑Time projected annual range: $170k–$180k.
- Equipment & Support: Instruments provided (debridement kits, hurricane spray); dedicated nurse to round with at each facility; company laptop with EMR (Aprima); malpractice coverage for both full‑ and part‑time providers; mileage reimbursement per standard IRS guidelines.
- Practice environment: No wound care experience required – training provided. We serve as your office and administration so you can spend more time with your family.
Responsibilities
- Round weekly at assigned facilities within territory.
- Diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine.
- Perform medical procedures, including debridement as necessary.
- Communicate and collaborate on findings and treatments with facility clinical staff.
- Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals.
- Document each patient encounter in EMR (Aprima) and maintain patient medical records on company‑assigned laptop.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary.
- Physical demands: standing and walking for long periods, bending, kneeling, proximal and distal dexterity, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- APRN or PA‑C
- Active, unrestricted state medical license
- DEA license
- Valid driver’s license
- Two years of experience as a Solo Practitioner preferred
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients
- High degree of technical skill utilizing software, including proficiency documenting in EMR with strong attention to detail
