My MediRides is looking for full-time drivers who are kind, hardworking, and enjoy helping people.

New Port Richey

$15/hr + per-trip incentive

Monday–Friday, daytime

Safely transport customers to and from doctor’s appointments, dialysis, physical therapy, pharmacies, or any other medical appointments on time, adhering to federal, state, and local traffic laws, as well as company policies and procedures
Drive vehicles in a safe manner
Provide reliable, courteous, and respectful customer service
Report to pickups at the required time and location to ensure passengers’ timely arrival for appointments
Report any defects, mechanical problems, or missing items to your Manager
Perform a vehicle inspection while refueling the vehicle
Immediately report any and all moving violations to your supervisor
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company business secrets and customer information
Abide by all company policies and procedures
Complete paid in-field training provided by the company
Use the company-provided vehicle and fuel card for transporting customers
All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Valid state driver’s license issued by the state of proposed employment
Live within 30 minutes of the New Port Richey location
At least 5 years of verifiable driving experience
21 years of age or older
Pass a pre-employment drug screening, 3-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, background check, and driving performance test
No physical impairment preventing safe driving or performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Able to read, write, and converse in English
Able to use a GPS/technology system, read and understand roadmaps
Able to lift and pull up to 20 pounds
Able to climb in and out of the vehicle
Able to bend to inspect the undercarriage of a vehicle and tires
Able to manually open and close all doors and hatches on the vehicle
