About the role

This position involves obtaining blood and non-blood specimens for laboratory testing. Tasks include drawing blood on patients ranging from infants to geriatrics, working in a fast-paced environment, and ensuring proper specimen labeling and handling.

Responsibilities

• Obtain blood specimens and collect non-blood specimens such as urine, sputum, and throat swabs for laboratory testing
• Use straight needles and draw up to 50 times per day
• Label specimens and handle all specimens properly
• Process specimens for laboratory testing

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience outside of school

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
