HIRING EVENT Security Officer FT /PT Basking Ridge, NJ

About the role

The event is a hiring event for Security Officers at Securitas. It will take place on July 15, 2026 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at 240 Cedar Knoll Road, Suite 309, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring the premises.
• Patrol various locations to enforce regulations and directives for client sites.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a reliable means of communication (pager or phone).
• Must have a reliable means of transportation with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary.
• A background in retail, food service, or hospitality is beneficial but not required.
• We provide training for those without relevant experience.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Ability to enforce regulations and directives.
• Physical stamina for patrolling various locations.

Pay

$17.00 per hour.

Schedule

Part-time positions include working Saturday and Sunday. Full-time positions include working Saturday and Sunday, and must work both days.
