Hiring Event - Residential Direct Support Professionals

Role Overview

This position involves supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, epilepsy, and brain injuries to achieve a fulfilling and independent life.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, assistance, and training in daily activities such as self-care, social, recreation, community, and domestic skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation, promote safety, and advocate for individuals' rights and benefits.
• Collaborate on personal goal plans, attend staff meetings, and ensure overall well-being.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred human service experience.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid NYS Driver’s License with reliable transportation are required.

Physical & Training Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, perform crisis intervention, CPR, and first aid.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and communicate effectively.
