About the role
As Assistant Manager, you're the right-hand hero to our General Manager. You'll help run the show, lead the crew, and make sure every shift hits high standards—with a side of hustle and heart. This isn't just a job—it's your chance to grow into something big.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations like a boss (because you kinda are)
- Lead and coach crew members and shift leads with energy and positivity
- Jump in on the floor when it's go-time—grill, register, drive-thru, expo, all of it
- Deliver top-tier guest experiences (smiles, speed, and straight-up awesome service)
- Help with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance feedback
- Keep things clean, safe, organized, and up to HipBurger standards
- Support the GM with inventory, ordering, and team development
- Solve problems on the fly and keep the vibe strong no matter how busy it gets
Requirements
- 1+ year of leadership experience in food service or hospitality
- A natural ability to lead, motivate, and communicate
- Calm in the chaos, cool under pressure
- Big energy and a love for working with people
- Detail-oriented and reliable—you show up, step up, and level up
- Must be 18+ and available for flexible scheduling (nights, weekends, holidays)
